About Dr. Jay Mehta

Dr. Jay Mehta is an IVF specialist, laparoscopic endoscopist, and robotic gynecological surgeon based in Mumbai. He completed his MBBS at Seth GS Medical College & KEM Hospital, Mumbai, followed by a DNB in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He pursued extensive international post-doctoral training, completing fellowships in laparoscopic endometriosis excision surgery in Austria, robotic surgery in Florida, USA, and earning the Bachelor of Endoscopy degree from the European Society of Gynecological Endoscopy (ESGE).

Dr. Mehta serves as the Scientific Director and Chairman of Shree IVF & Endometriosis Clinic in Ghatkopar East, Mumbai, and oversees 32 IVF laboratories nationwide. His clinical practice focuses on surgical excision of deep infiltrating endometriosis (DIE), fertility preservation, complex adenomyosis management, thin endometrium therapies, and chronic pelvic pain management. He advocates for evidence-based reproductive protocols and uterine-preserving surgical approaches.

My Patient Philosophy

"Complex fertility challenges and painful conditions like endometriosis demand root-cause treatment rather than temporary fixes. My focus is to combine advanced surgical excision with customized reproductive medicine to preserve fertility and restore quality of life."
