About Dr. Prasad Umesh Kasbekar

Dr. Prasad Umesh Kasbekar is a highly accomplished Consultant Surgical Oncologist based in Mumbai, widely acknowledged as one of the region's elite cancer surgeons. He initiated his medical foundation at B.J. Medical College, Pune, before completing his MS in General Surgery through the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS). Driven by a commitment to specialized oncology, he secured an MCh in Surgical Oncology from the renowned Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute (GCRI), Ahmedabad — an apex training destination for comprehensive cancer care in India.

 

Following his superspecialty training, Dr. Kasbekar expanded his surgical expertise globally by completing an advanced international Fellowship in AI & Robotic Cancer Surgery at Yonsei University Hospital & Severance Hospital in Seoul, South Korea — a premier global hub for advanced robotic surgery. Reflecting his commitment to international clinical benchmarks, he holds dual global board certifications: Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and Fellow of the European Board of Surgery in Surgical Oncology (FEBS).
