Dr. Samarth Ajay Thakkar represents the cutting edge of specialized sub-specialty orthopaedics in Mumbai. The son of veteran surgeon Dr. Ajay Thakkar, he practices alongside his father within the Ghatkopar orthopaedic cluster, bringing world-class international standards to local communities. He completed his foundational MBBS at the prestigious Seth G.S. Medical College & KEM Hospital, Mumbai, before completing his MS in Orthopaedics from Manipal University, where he graduated as a Gold Medalist. He then dedicated himself to the highly underserved niche of Foot and Ankle surgery, completing a domestic fellowship at Sunshine Global Hospital under Dr. Rajiv Shah, followed by three super-specialty international fellowships in the United States at Northwestern University (Chicago), Duke University, and the University of Washington (Seattle).
