About Dr. Satyen Mehta

Dr. Satyen Mehta is a Gold Medalist Orthopedic Spine Surgeon with over 26 years of experience dedicated exclusively to the diagnosis and treatment of spinal disorders. He trained extensively across India, South Korea, and Australia, including a fellowship in spinal deformity corrective and pediatric spine surgery at Korea University Guro Hospital, Seoul, and a clinical spine fellowship at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane, before building his practice in Mumbai with a sole focus on the spine.

 

His practice covers the full range of spinal conditions, including degenerative disorders of the back and neck, spinal deformities, tumors, infections including spinal tuberculosis, trauma, and developmental conditions such as scoliosis. He has a particular interest in minimally invasive and endoscopic spine surgery, where smaller surgical footprints translate to less post operative discomfort and faster recovery for patients.

 

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Mehta remains actively involved in academics, training the next generation of spine surgeons through fellowship programs and mentoring young surgeons from across India and neighboring countries.
