About Dr. Mandar Agashe

Dr. Mandar Agashe is a Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Mumbai, with a special interest in paediatric and adolescent hip disorders, hip preservation, and paediatric trauma.

He completed advanced fellowships in paediatric hip disorders and deformity correction in India, Korea, and the USA, and has established the same standard of specialized paediatric orthopaedic care in India.

He has published one of the largest clinical series on Slipped Capital Femoral Epiphysis (SCFE) and Perthes disease from India, and is recognized as one of the leading experts in paediatric hip preservation and hip disorders. He has operated on SCFE cases across more than 12 cities in India.

Dr. Agashe’s inspiration to pursue paediatric orthopaedics came from witnessing children suffering from severe limb deformities and neglected orthopaedic conditions. This inspired him to dedicate his career to improving mobility, independence, and quality of life for children.
