About Dr. Samir Ramesh Pradhan
Dr. Samir Ramesh Pradhan is a senior consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with more than three decades of experience in high-risk obstetrics, advanced laparoscopic surgery, cosmetic and aesthetic gynaecology, and minimally invasive vaginal surgeries.
He completed his MBBS in 1994 from the prestigious Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital and later pursued his MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Nowrosjee Wadia Maternity Hospital in 1997. During his undergraduate training, he was awarded the prestigious Mumbai University Gold Medal for academic excellence.
Dr. Pradhan further completed his DNB from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi in 1998, along with FCPS, DGO, and DFP qualifications from the College of Physicians and Surgeons.
From the early stages of his medical career, he received extensive training in both conventional surgical techniques and minimal access procedures including hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, and colposcopy. Over the years, he has continuously upgraded his expertise in foetal medicine, advanced vaginal surgery, VNOTES (Vaginal Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgery), cosmetic gynaecology, and gynaec oncology.

He subsequently played a key role in establishing and commissioning the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital located at Lodhivali on the old Mumbai–Pune Highway. During this phase, he developed standardized treatment protocols for obstetric and gynaecological care.
In 1999, he started his private practice in Mulund and Bhandup, followed by the establishment of his own hospital.
