About Dr. Nikesh Jain

Dr. Nikesh Jain is a highly accomplished Consultant Interventional Cardiologist with nearly two decades of leadership in coronary therapeutics and clinical education in Mumbai. He earned his MBBS from Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, followed by his DNB in General Medicine and a highly competitive DNB in Cardiology from the prestigious Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre. A key figure in the academic cardiology community, Dr. Jain is an active Faculty member for the Master Teachers Program at Jaslok Hospital and served as a Course Co-Director and Scientific Committee member for the major national conference India Live 2019. He coordinates patient care across Jaslok Hospital, Wockhardt Hospitals, and Siddhachal Hospitals.

Dr. Jain specializes in advanced, high-risk percutaneous interventions, including Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO) angio-recanalization, bifurcation stenting, and rotational atherectomy for heavily calcified blockages. He is also highly skilled in transcatheter structural procedures like TAVR and heart transplant workups. His deep academic background is reflected in his authorship of critical chapters in P. J. Mehta's Clinical and Emergency Medicine and the RSSDI Textbook on Diabetes Mellitus. In his daily practice, Dr. Jain combines this extensive research background with a clear, patient-first approach to give families honest, data-backed guidance.
